Good afternoon! It is 12:15 pm on a lovely Monday morning, and I find that this Monday may not be as terrible as I had assumed during the previous week.
Apparently I received a call around 3:00pm on Friday afternoon last week.Of course, I was away all afternoon and I was not aware of said call until about the same time the next day. I realized that I had a voice mail, and when I checked that voice mail...well. You wish you could have been there to experience my excitement.
Back before I left to go home for the holidays, my school had a contest to win an Xbox 360. I had $100 of 'free' money so to say, and in order to enter, you just had to buy a bottle of Mountain Dew(which I needed the double XP for halo anyway..) and any bag of chips. So, day after day, I bought said items and entered a ballot. I entered soooo many times. Well, turns out that payed off as that voice mail was women confirming that I had WON that Xbox 360!!! I jumped off my bed and did a little fangirl squeal.. I'm expecting her to call again and you can be assured that I am VERY excited :3
Okay, new topic! So I went skating last night with my friends; something I have been looking forward to for over a week now. I was thinking, 'Hey, I haven't been skating for a few years now..but how hard can it be, right?' Wrong. As I've been telling absolutely everyone..I have about as much balance as a new born fawn. I fell twice, and I'm pretty sure I strained a few muscles in my lower back. BUT. I had fun and I may be doing it again here next week! Practice makes perfect as Mason always says :3
Alright, so I think I mentioned before that I have recently received three games: Red Dead Redemption, Skyrim, and Dishonored. Well, maybe not but I did now. So, I played Red Dead once before, and actually beat the story line which is honestly amazing to me. I've really hit it off with Skyrim, though I wasn't positive I would. I wasn't a fan of Oblivion at all, but Skyrim seems different somehow. But, on to the third game of the bunch: Dishonored. I've heard mixed views on this game; some say it is extremely fun, and I should most definitely play it. Others say that it is extremely hard and due to the fact that the whole game is basically about sneaking, I wouldn't like it. Though, I do have it on the *easiest* difficulty and thus far it has peaked my interest. I plan to play more soon and I think I will enjoy it. Of course, I can't be absolutely positive, but I'm about 89% sure ;)
