Pay Back Games
My clan Ladies 2 Die 4 as well as our brother clan, Die 4 My Ladies, both play competitive games that are hosted by a site called Pay Back Games. It is an EXCELLENT site and is very similar to Gamebattles, but waaaaay better. With Pay back Games you don't have to worry about 'the honor system' and people not following it, because they have actual Admins watching EVERY game, and even recording it! You also don't need to worry about tiny screaming children ;) They host matches on several games including:
Call Of Duty - Black Ops
Call Of Duty - World At War
Call Of Duty - Modern Warfare
Call Of Duty - Modern Warfare 2
Forza Motorsport 3
Marvel vs. Capcom 3
Super Street Fighter IV
(I personally prefer just playing in the Modern Warfare 2 games ;) These matches can be for prizes, cash or just to rank up your stats on the site. Its really fun and you should definitely register ;) Just go to Register | Pay Back Games to sign up! Its SO worth it :) Its completely free, and if you're interested, you could possibly get a Pro Contract! Now wouldn't that be awesome?! I've had a lot of fun playing with everyone from Pay Back Games, and its a great way to meet new people :) Also, not only do they host games, but they have forums too! Dodge Hawk this Friday
Okay, So I used to post on a popular CoD forum called IPlayCod. Now I don't go on the site as much anymore, but I still pop in from time to time, and every Friday they hold a Dodge Hawk tournament! Now I've known about it for a little while now, but I didn't really know anything about it. Here are the rules, taken from Dodge Hawk Rules | I Play CoD (Go here to read this first hand)
"Dodgehawk Rules:
Dodgehawk is exactly like the game dodgeball, but with a tomahawk. Each game is played with anywhere from 4-18 players with even teams. Each team lines up on their designated side and waits for the decoy at the beginning to begin the game. After the game begins, let the tomahawks fly. When you run out, simply look behind you or look for the icon indicating a tomahawk on the ground, pick it up, and throw it back. When you are hit and killed, simply run back into the game from your spawn back onto your side. Each player has 3 lives and thats it. Once every member of your team is killed, the game automatically ends and the winner is crowned.
No tomahawks can be thrown outside of the playing field, this will result in disqualification and elimination from the match. Under no circumstances should a gun be fired at any other player, whether it be a joke or not. Every course has a half way mark in the center. Crossing this line will result in disqualification. On some maps, there are obstacles in the way, running behind to get a tomahawk is okay, but camping and hiding is not. This will also result in a disqualification. The referee at each game will interpret the rules. "
I'm entered in the tournament this Friday, February 25th. You guys should register on IPlayCoD so you can join in the fun! :D Now keep in mind, I have NEVER tried this before, so I'm gonna suck haha, If I get any awesome kills I'll post it on my youtube, kay?
