When I was just a little girl, I asked my mother, “What will I be? Will I be pretty? Will I be pretty? Will I be pretty? What comes next?
Oh right, will I be rich?” Which is almost pretty depending on where you shop. And the pretty question infects from conception, passing blood and breath into cells. The word hangs from our mothers' hearts in a shrill fluorescent floodlight of worry.
“Will I be wanted? Worthy? Pretty?” But puberty left me this funhouse mirror dryad: teeth set at science fiction angles, crooked nose, face donkey-long and pox-marked where the hormones went finger-painting. My poor mother.
“How could this happen? You'll have porcelain skin as soon as we can see a dermatologist. You sucked your thumb. That's why your teeth look like that! You were hit in the face with a Frisbee when you were 6. Otherwise your nose would have been just fine!
“Don't worry. We'll get it fixed!” She would say, grasping my face, twisting it this way and that, as if it were a cabbage she might buy.
But this is not about her. Not her fault. She, too, was raised to believe the greatest asset she could bestow upon her awkward little girl was a marketable facade. By 16, I was pickled with ointments, medications, peroxides. Teeth corralled into steel prongs. Laying in a hospital bed, face packed with gauze, cushioning the brand new nose the surgeon had carved.
Belly gorged on 2 pints of my blood I had swallowed under anesthesia, and every convulsive twist of my gut like my body screaming at me from the inside out, “What did you let them do to you!”
All the while this never-ending chorus droning on and on, like the IV needle dripping liquid beauty into my blood. “Will I be pretty? Will I be pretty? Like my mother, unwrapping the gift wrap to reveal the bouquet of daughter her $10,000 bought her? Pretty? Pretty.”
And now, I have not seen my own face for 10 years. I have not seen my own face in 10 years, but this is not about me.
This is about the self-mutilating circus we have painted ourselves clowns in. About women who will prowl 30 stores in 6 malls to find the right cocktail dress, but haven't a clue where to find fulfillment or how wear joy, wandering through life shackled to a shopping bag, beneath those 2 pretty syllables.
About men wallowing on bar stools, drearily practicing attraction and everyone who will drift home tonight, crest-fallen because not enough strangers found you suitably fuckable.

Back to school, eh? ;3
Howdy! :) Sorry I haven't posted in close to a month :O I can't blame it on anything other than my own laziness lol But I just made it to 1600 views! :D And before I start school too hehe. Goin' Batty! :O
I have some interesting stuff to write about today :P I believe I posted a while back about getting my permit. Well, I couldn't drive because of my cast, but I can now :) Soooo, my dad and I went driving today. And, of course we have always driven stick, so just guess what I'm learning on? That's right, a standard :P Oh goodie, eh? Haha. Yeah, but I'm still trying to get used to starting and stopping with the clutch. It's a lot easier with Dad's truck than Mom's car. So, we went around 'the cape'. Which is a big loop of road where I live. Anyway, I had a couple firsts.
Ah, and one more thing. There was a freakin' BAT in my house last night >.< I go downstairs to find Casper and to my dismay, the light was on and it looked like a tornado went through the living room! The cats were trying to get the bat that was still flying around... Yuck. I took Casper and Daisy and we went to bed. Dad came home today and after looking around, we found the bat hanging on a window haha. He killed it with a broom, and he broke it. Ha.
I met a couple really cool guys from facebook the other day :) We're making a dual montage! :D And, we might possible do a live stream tonight! Yay hehe. I missed y'all :')
Alrighty, so I haven't posted for a while, but I've been going through a few personal things. Things I'm not going to get into. I've made some new awesome friends though :) CyaNideEPIC and DutchyDC <--- Those are their twitters and I suggest you follow :) CyaNide is a Domination expert, and he has some awesome tips on his youtube channel. Dutchy is a Search and Destroy expert and he has cool little tips on his youtube as well! They both have live streams almost every night and I'm in there a lot. :) Dutchy is actually doing his 39th night streaming in a row! :D If you'd like to check them out I'll put their links in a bit :)
Oh and another thing, if you ever have any questions about CoD or even about cooking then hit up LethalFrag! I love him to death :) We've got to take him to the vet and get him fixed and get all his vaccinations but we gotta wait till we have the monies :)

I Apologize!
I'm sorry to any and all of the people who read my blog. I haven't been able to post anything recently because my parents left on vacation a little over a week ago, and they took the laptop with them! So, the only way I could post is during my Information Technology class. In which I have to do work, so its hard to do lol but good news is they are coming back tonight :) I'll have a post up, hopefully by Tuesday night because after that I have rugby :P It'll have lots of things like the CAG FFA tournament, L2D4 tournament and updates, item giveaways and a shoutout to my friend F C from I Play Cod. CAG 2v2 Tournament Update, Contest and RUGBY! :D
As you should know, I've been involved in a 2v2 tournament, hosted by the Combat Applications Group (CAG). My partner is Kransxual, and we won our first match about a week ago (Which was AWESOME btw!). Now, we've been trying to get our opponents to find a time when all four of us to play. Kran and I have been available almost everyday, but sadly, because of time differences and sickness and other complications, and other team, which was made up of Winged Munchies and M K Dudley, has been disqualified, due to lack of response and willingness to play :( Its a shame, but it was necessary. Because of their disqualification, Kran and I move on to the next round!! :D That part I'm SO excited about!! Our match will happen Thursday, at 11:30 EST. It sucks, because this is the earliest we could do it. Thats like 12:30 in the morning for me :'( I'm gonna be so tired at school the next day. BUT, I will NOT back down ;) I'm putting up one helluva fight! We are going to WIN this thing. Muahahaha :D I'm going to try to get them to send me the recorded match so I can put it up on my youtube :) I can't record it myself, becasue it can only be 30 s -_- SO annoying... But anywhoo :) Here is the updated bracket! :D
Also, Ladies 2 Die 4 is having ANOTHER contest! We love to have these contests and give you all these awesome products! I entered a 2v2 tournament, which was hosted by CAG, with Kransxual, and we DOMINATED! The first round began on Saturday, where we completely murdered two member's of CAG, VoKaB1 and Eagle7. But, no matter how badly we creamed them, they did an excellent job! It was a really good game, and I look forward to playing with them more in the future. The first match was on Jungle, which I was none too happy with. However, we did better than I had anticipated! The first match ended up being 460 - 35. Kills were 50 points, headshots 60 points, and death resulted in -25 points. It was pretty slow paced, and most of the action seemed to take place by the rice paddies and the camo field between the pier and the small bridge. In the beginning, it wasn't very exciting, but after a while we found our opponents and thus, we began the butt rape ;)
The next map I was MUCH happier to play. We played on Firing Range, and again, raped :) The action was soooo much faster, and the match seemed to go by so much quicker. Vokab and Eagle made the mistake of staying together for most of the match, which resulted in Kran and I getting multiple double kills. Fine by me ;D Still, they tried their best, which is great! :) They hadn't played Black Ops for a while, so they were a tad bit rusty. At one point, I had used most of the mag in my Galil, so I switched to my M19. I got a couple hit markers but then ran out of ammo completely! So it switched me back to my Galil automatically, which resulted in me running out of ammo yet AGAIN. He was already half dead from my various bullets when we both charged and tried to knife. Sadly for Vokab, I won out on this occassion, and my knife struck home. Valiant effort on his part though ;) In this match, the end score was 1329 to -202! Kran and I get to advance to the next round :) Another team that advanced is GdubyaB and Noli. Read about their match here.
My parents took my xbox, so I won't be able to do the second round for at least a week, which is REALLY crappy. Oh well, I'm hoping I get it back soon. Congratz to our team and Gdub and Noli! :)

Homefront? :D
Okay, I've been a little slow with this one. I'm just now looking at gameplay and everything for Homefront, and I must say, I'm getting pretty excited :) It looks really cool. At first glance, it looks very similar to Battlefield: Bad Company, at least it does to me. But what are your thoughts? Are you excited for it? Does it look like a cheap knock off of a different game? Give me your input, I'm really curious to know what everyone thinks. Also, if you have a video of a commentary you did on a game you did recently, or just a video of your thoughts, please don't hesitate to @ Mention me on Twitter, or post on my facebook :) I'm really interested in what you guys think! I haven't seen very many videos of actual gameplay yet, so please link me to some :) I'm hoping to get it sometime soon, before its old news haha.
Here's a side note, I've just been told that reviews give it at best a 6.5 out of 10. What are your thoughts? I'm not going to judge the game until I play it myself but I'm still interested in what you think. So, let me have it :)

SGM Update + MOOSE?! :O
I'm sooo sorry. I've been running a bit behind, eh? My bad haha. So, with my gaming mission. Because of studying for the permit (that I failed >.<) and with my friend's wanted to hang out, and catch up and stuff, I could not complete four of my games. Only four, I swear :) These games are Modern Warfare 2(Campaign), Assassins Creed, Left 4 Dead, and Battlefield: Bad Company(Campaign). I talked with Kransxual about it, and he has granted me an extension. I have until this Wednesday night at 11:59 pm to complete these last few games. There is one catch however, I must play an extra half hour of EACH of the four remaining games. For Mw2 and Battlefield, I will play 45 minutes of campaign, and 45 minutes of multiplayer. Seems like a fair trade, right? I thought so :)
Oh, and remember Ladies night on Paybackgames??? Well it turned out great! They're going to do it again THIS Thursday! Yay :D Here is a video of it :)

SGM - Game #3 'Fallout: New Vegas'
My third game was Fallout: New Vegas. Here is a little information:

Now this game I HIGHLY recommend :) I love this game! This one I played by far the most during my gaming mission! Its one of the few games I own that does not have a multiplayer feature. I'm not usually one for only campaign but this game is extremely fun, and so worth the money! I didn't have to buy it though ;) Its my brother's game and he lets me borrow it. I played it a lot longer than what I have recorded haha because I love it so much :D

This was one of those easy games to play for over an hour. Of course, I had to stop half was through because my stupid power went out! -_- Ugh it was so annoying, and scared the crap outta me! Then my friend called right after so i took about a ten minute break in between. Also, because of my power going out, it didn't save, therefore it kicked me waaay back. At that point, I just said screw it and switched games xD I also played a little online, which you already knew, but I'd say the game is worth it :) I had fun playing it and will probably continue to play it.Goal Time: 1 Hour

I haven't been able to get near a laptop very much until now, and I'm sorry about that :O I've been working on SGM and I've gotten through quite a few games. All I have to do is finish playing them, and write up the reports. It takes time so you gotta be patient lol. But, Good news! Tomorrow is Ladies Night on Pay Back Games :D Only the Ladies can sign up! Any and all female gamers should register on the site and sign up as soon as the matches are posted up :) I'll be there, along with the smexii ladies from Ladies 2 Die 4 ;) It'll be loads of fun and I hope to see you there.

Monster Energy
Last night I had a couple Monster energy Drinks....I only ended up drinking one but HOLY CRAP I was really really hyper O.o It was kinda scary. I have a Monster Assault in a red can that I'm thinking about drinking tonight. >:) hehe I'll get another couple of my games done ;) Oh! I was playing Bioshock 2 last night, just for fun, not actually to complete my mission, and Kransxual and I were playing online. First game I went positive, but still didn't do that great but second game? OH EM GOODNESS I was on top of the whole lobby. I got the big daddy suit once, wow it was a good time ;) It was just a tad bit laggy, but still it was a good time and I suggest it for sure :)

But really, who wouldn't hate an orphan who wants to better himself and become a productive member of society? Know your place, Naruto! Your goal in the single-player adventure is to win the respect of the citizens of Konoha by proving Naruto's worth. He's still an orphan seven hours later, but at least most of the town loves him. '

Silent's Gaming Mission
Alrighty, I am FINALLY on March Break!!!!!! :D Also known as "Spring Break" for all you Americans out there... ;3 Anywho, I am SO excited because I have a special plan for my March Break!!!! I plan on playing ALL of the Xbox 360 games I own, as well as a couple I'm going to borrow from my friend, Kaylee. This means in the next 10 days I will play over 13 games. :O Now I know this may not be much for many of you out there, but it is SOO much for me haha. I mostly only play CoD and Fallout. I plan to play a minimum of at least one hour of each game. This will be a lot for some, and not so much for others. Some games are scary, others boring, and some are even a little retarded. Ima post the list on here and keeping adding to it as I get permission to play some. Any with ** beside them will be ones I have added in.
Throughout these next few days I will post what games I will play that day, and a little information about the game. I'm hanging out with Kaylee on Sunday, so we can go to my other friend's Welcome Back party on Monday. She is just visiting us during March Break, as she moved away about a year ago. Therefore, I won't be able to play any games(or at least not many) during that time. Oh, plus I need to study to write my permit on the 9th...ugh I forgot about that part...my bad. Okay I still believe I can do this! If I had a cap card I'd totally record all of this :( PLUS my english teacher gave us a paper to do... friggggg. Oh well :) It'll be AWESOME :D Oh, and an awesome little tid bit that I just learned.... Kransxual does not believe I can complete this task. I plan to prove him wrong ;) And as it turns out, he might possibly buy my CoD 4 if I do finish my mission. :D He's going to post a bit about my mission aswell here. I suggest you follow his blog, and mine as well, so you can be updated daily. Recent Events
Okay, so I haven't posted in quite a while...and I'm sorry about that but its been quite eventful the last few days. First of all, it was storming on Friday and for some reason school didn't get cancelled... So I went to school anyway and all was well until on the way back home, we had to go up a bit of a hill. Of course, it was slippery, so the bus started to slide, and we slid right into the ditch! Ugh, we had to wait for a tow truck to get us out. We stood in the cold for well over an hour, but luckily the people who live at the bottom let us stand in their garage. Not exactly warm, but at least we weren't getting snowed on, right? Well it took a while for the salt truck to get there to salt the road, but eventually it was alllll good :) And they actually did cancel school on Monday, thank God lol.
I had a pretty awesome weekend. Well, I thought it was awesome :) I just stayed home and played video games haha thats what I consider fun! Played Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops, Battlefield: Bad Company, Condemned, F.E.A.R 2, Fallout: New Vegas..... oh it was lovely :) I posted up a couple pictures on facebook of random weirdness on Fallout, as well as some awesome Search scores in both Mw2 and B.Ops :D Link should be somewhere over there ---->

Oh! Oh! Guess what? :) I posted up a couple more videos on my youtube channel! :D Yaaay awesomesauce! One is of a One In The Chamber match I did a couple days ago, and one is a Sticks and Stones match the same day :) I don't usually play wager matches, because they SERIOUSLY make me mad haha but at least it worked out in my favor a couple times ;) I've got another couple videos I have to edit, but they will be up in the next few days. You can check it out here. Btw, anyone know of a cheap video editing software I could buy? By cheap I mean under $100 lol. I want to be able to make montages and stuff. Of course, I'd need a cap card, so I could record my awesome Mw2 matches as well, but editing my Black Ops clips will be good enough for a while. :)

I had a pretty awesome weekend. Well, I thought it was awesome :) I just stayed home and played video games haha thats what I consider fun! Played Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops, Battlefield: Bad Company, Condemned, F.E.A.R 2, Fallout: New Vegas..... oh it was lovely :) I posted up a couple pictures on facebook of random weirdness on Fallout, as well as some awesome Search scores in both Mw2 and B.Ops :D Link should be somewhere over there ---->

Its bad lol extremely bad lag. ---->****Double XP weekend has been confirmed for all consoles from March 4th to the 7th! If you were thinking about prestiging I would suggest doing it then ;)
Oh! Oh! Guess what? :) I posted up a couple more videos on my youtube channel! :D Yaaay awesomesauce! One is of a One In The Chamber match I did a couple days ago, and one is a Sticks and Stones match the same day :) I don't usually play wager matches, because they SERIOUSLY make me mad haha but at least it worked out in my favor a couple times ;) I've got another couple videos I have to edit, but they will be up in the next few days. You can check it out here. Btw, anyone know of a cheap video editing software I could buy? By cheap I mean under $100 lol. I want to be able to make montages and stuff. Of course, I'd need a cap card, so I could record my awesome Mw2 matches as well, but editing my Black Ops clips will be good enough for a while. :)

Pay Back Games
My clan Ladies 2 Die 4 as well as our brother clan, Die 4 My Ladies, both play competitive games that are hosted by a site called Pay Back Games. It is an EXCELLENT site and is very similar to Gamebattles, but waaaaay better. With Pay back Games you don't have to worry about 'the honor system' and people not following it, because they have actual Admins watching EVERY game, and even recording it! You also don't need to worry about tiny screaming children ;) They host matches on several games including:
Call Of Duty - Black Ops
Call Of Duty - World At War
Call Of Duty - Modern Warfare
Call Of Duty - Modern Warfare 2
Forza Motorsport 3
Marvel vs. Capcom 3
Super Street Fighter IV
(I personally prefer just playing in the Modern Warfare 2 games ;) These matches can be for prizes, cash or just to rank up your stats on the site. Dodge Hawk this Friday
Okay, So I used to post on a popular CoD forum called IPlayCod. Now I don't go on the site as much anymore, but I still pop in from time to time, and every Friday they hold a Dodge Hawk tournament! Now I've known about it for a little while now, but I didn't really know anything about it. Here are the rules, taken from Dodge Hawk Rules | I Play CoD (Go here to read this first hand)
"Dodgehawk Rules:
Dodgehawk is exactly like the game dodgeball, but with a tomahawk. Each game is played with anywhere from 4-18 players with even teams. Each team lines up on their designated side and waits for the decoy at the beginning to begin the game. After the game begins, let the tomahawks fly. When you run out, simply look behind you or look for the icon indicating a tomahawk on the ground, pick it up, and throw it back. When you are hit and killed, simply run back into the game from your spawn back onto your side. Each player has 3 lives and thats it. Once every member of your team is killed, the game automatically ends and the winner is crowned.
No tomahawks can be thrown outside of the playing field, this will result in disqualification and elimination from the match. Under no circumstances should a gun be fired at any other player, whether it be a joke or not. Every course has a half way mark in the center. Crossing this line will result in disqualification. On some maps, there are obstacles in the way, running behind to get a tomahawk is okay, but camping and hiding is not. This will also result in a disqualification. The referee at each game will interpret the rules. "
I'm entered in the tournament this Friday, February 25th. You guys should register on IPlayCoD so you can join in the fun! :D Now keep in mind, I have NEVER tried this before, so I'm gonna suck haha, If I get any awesome kills I'll post it on my youtube, kay?
